The classification of equipment can be consulted at http://www.ero.dk/rtte.
Class 1 equipment can be placed on the market and used without restrictions in the Community.
For Class 2 equipment the use is subjected to restrictions and as a consequence the CE marking of these products has to include the alert sign.
It is advisable to consult these sites regularly.
