In addition to the RSS feed BIPT offers the possibility of being notified as soon as a new virus alert is launched.
That way you are very rapidly informed about the imminent threat described in the alert, thus enabling you to take all necessary measures (such as updating your antivirus programme, installing a patch for your operating system or one of its components, fixing a vulnerability in a programme you use…).
There are two possibilities.
1. E-mail alert : each time a new virus alert is launched a message is sent to your mailbox inviting you to visit our website in order to obtain further information.
2. SMS alert : with each new alert you immediately receive an SMS on your mobile phone inviting you to visit our website in order to obtain further information.
