Office of the Ombudsman

First of all a complaint is lodged with the postal operator concerned. If you are unhappy with the treatment of your complaint by a postal operator, you can bring the case before the Office of the Ombudsman for the Postal Sector.

If the result is unsatisfactory, the Office of the Ombudsman for the Postal Sector may be called upon by lodging a written complaint. You can do this:

  • by letter, stamped as a regular item, addressed to the Office of the Ombudsman for the Postal Sector, Rue Royale 97, box 15 - 1000 Brussels;
  • by fax: 02 221 02 44;
  • by e-mail: info@omps.be
  • via the form on the web

Anonymous complaints will not be handled.
