BIPT publishes the results of its annual survey on the telecom users’ perception

Brussels, 31 August 2017 – Based on the results of the annual consumer survey conducted by BIPT, users were rather satisfied with the services and prices offered.

Users found it was sometimes difficult to compare prices and services and often knew nothing of the basic rights regarding telecommunications. The evolution in the use of telecommunications services is worth noting. For example, the use of mobile Internet and some applications thanks to which it is possible to use message and telephony services over the Internet strongly increased.

BIPT's tariff simulator has been well received as well as the SMS notification sent once the price cap is reached for mobile telephony.
