You wish to file a complaint against an online platform?

As a user or authorised organisation established in Belgium, you can file a complaint with the BIPT, provided that you have first attempted to report the problem directly to the platform concerned, unless the platform does not offer any means of reporting.

⚠️ Please note that your complaint must concern the behaviour, inaction or functioning of the platform (e.g.: no follow-up of your notice), and not the content itself.

🔍 What happens next?

  • Your complaint will be analysed.
  • It may be sent to the Digital Services Coordinator of the Member State where the platform concerned is established.
  • During this procedure, you and the platform concerned by your complaint have the right to be heard and informed of the progress of your case.  

How to file a complaint?

  1. Download the form;
  2. Fill it in as accurately as possible;
  3. Add supporting documents;
  4. Send everything to complaintdsa@bipt.be.
