The comparative international price study published today by the BIPT on its website shows that the tariffs for telecommunications services in Belgium are generally high when compared to neighbouring countries.

Even if this finding must be qualified regarding certain needs, e.g. those concerning basic mobile services, for which Belgium is rather competitive, our country is generally more and more expensive compared to its neighbours as voice and data needs increase.

For consumers using bundles (a combination of Internet, TV and fixed and/or mobile telephony services), Belgian tariffs are generally high and, as for mobile offers, Belgian consumers pay a significantly higher tariff as their needs increase in comparison to neighbouring countries.
